The School of Engineering on the Okanagan campus of the University of British Columbia is pleased to unveil its strategic plan.
This document maps out the School’s trajectory (over the next seven years) by setting a clear path towards achieving goals in key areas such as community, inclusivity and diversity, research, teaching and learning.
The plan’s goals align with the University’s Inspire strategic plan and the Faculty of Applied Science Engage strategic plan (and the forthcoming update to that plan).
Building for Tomorrow was developed through collaboration with many stakeholders including faculty, staff, students, campus administrators and external partners. Thank you to all the contributors for their feedback and participation in the process.
As the School of Engineering continues to grow, the Building for Tomorrow strategic plan is intended to act as a guide and ensure core goals are met in order to achieve the School’s vision.
School of Engineering vision: To be recognized for world-class academic and multi-disciplinary research that improves the social well-being of our community, province, country and planet.
