Lab & Facility Safety

Safety is a priority at the School of Engineering on the Okanagan campus of the University of British Columbia. Many resources exist to assist users in ensuring all safety procedures are followed.

The Technical Support Group supports teaching and research activities for the School of Engineering at the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus, as well as other university departments and external clientele. The Group provides custom design, manufacturing, and repairs to variety of research & laboratory equipment in the fields of Machining, Mechanical & Electronics design, Chemical & Civil. The Technical Support Group has the capacity to take ideas from sketches, or detailed drawings, to final product, including limited production runs. Jobs are submitted to the Technical Support Group by discussing with appropriate group members and filling out a Support Request Ticket.
