UBC Okanagan researchers appointed Canada Research Chairs, more than $4.1 million in funding received
Dr. Will Hughes from the School of Engineering is the Canada Research Chair in DNA Engineering (Tier 1). Dr. Hughes, who in addition to serving as the Director for the School of Engineering is also a Professor in Applied Science, designs DNA for multiple uses, including storing and reading digital data.
Students can earn micro-credentials through Okanagan Global Summer Program
UBC Okanagan (UBCO) will welcome students from around the world this July for the inaugural Okanagan Global Summer Program—a unique program that blends academic exploration with global adventure.
