Humanities Electives Overview
The UBC Okanagan School of Engineering Bachelor of Applied Science programs require 3 credits of Humanities. Students must ensure they meet the prerequisite requirement for their desired course. Any courses in these subject areas are approved Humanities courses for Engineering students, with exceptions or specifics noted below:

In general, scientific geography courses, statistical courses, courses with labs, and studio/performance courses in visual arts, music, and theatre will not satisfy this requirement.
If you have taken a course not listed above that you would like to have considered for eligibility as a humanities elective, complete the Transfer Credit Application Form.
If there is another course at UBC Okanagan not included in this list that you would like to have considered for eligibility as a humanities elective, please email a course description or syllabus to soe.advising@ubc.ca at least one month before the course start date to have it reviewed.
