Go Global for Engineering Students Overview

Go Global is a post-secondary academic exchange program. This program allows students to take one or more courses at specific partner institutions around the world. Courses completed on exchange are counted towards your degree requirements at UBC.

Current students in the Bachelor of Applied Science degree at UBC’s Okanagan campus (BASC-O), who are interested in the Go Global outbound exchange program should follow the steps below to determine if Go Global is a good fit.

Step 1: Understand how Go Global impacts your Engineering degree progression.

  • BASC-O students typically go on outbound exchange during their 3rd year (if on pace to completing their degree in 4 years) or 4th year (if on pace for completing their degree in 5 years).
