Biography

Dr. Mehran Shirazi is a lecturer at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus. He received his PhD from Simon Fraser University (SFU) where his research focused on control systems for driverless cars and driver assistance systems.

Dr. Shirazi applies real-life scenarios to course content creating classes that are “fun and engaging” for students.  His teaching has been recognized by SFU where he received “Best Teaching Assistant Award”.
