Dr. Jonathan Holzman, Associate Professor in the School of Engineering, has been awarded the Medal for Distinction in Engineering Education by Engineers Canada, “the national organization of the provincial and territorial associations that regulate the practice of engineering in Canada and license the country’s 290,000 members of the engineering profession.”
The Engineers Canada Medal for Distinction in Engineering Education recognizes the awardee’s contributions in engineering education and leadership in Canada. It is awarded based upon teaching excellence, program development, and community engagement for the engineering profession.
“Dr. Holzman has recently won awards at the university level, provincial level, and national level,” says Dr. Rehan Sadiq, Associate Dean of the School of Engineering.
“This is a demonstration of the high caliber of faculty members within our School of Engineering. He makes us proud!”
