The School of Engineering is pleased to announce the addition of two new faculty and three new laboratory technicians.
Dr. Zheng Liu joins us as an Associate Professor in the Civil Engineering program. His research interests include condition-based maintenance of oil and gas pipelines, hybrid decision making for nature resource analytics, and infrastructure management.
Dr. Chen Feng joins us as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering program. His research interests include communication networks, information theory, coding theory, cloud computing, wireless networking, and peer-to-peer streaming.
Luis Diaz, Kim Nordstrom, and Praveen Rajan joined the School’s Technical Support Group as laboratory technicians. Diaz and Nordstrom support the Civil Engineering program, while Rajan supports the Mechanical Engineering program.
In addition to these new hires, the School of Engineering is proud to announce the promotions of two faculty members: Dr. André Phillion was promoted to Associate Professor, and Dr. Mina Hoorfar was promoted to Professor.
