On Wednesday, March 25th, 2015, the EGSS (Engineering Graduate Students Society) hosted the 2nd annual Cultural Night. Organized by the EGSS, attendees included School of Engineering graduate students and their families, faculty, and staff.
Approximately 130 attendees were served a fantastic meal prepared by graduate students and faculty members, which included various dishes from Iran, India, and China. Desserts represented Russia, Bangladesh (including the EGSS Fall Potluck Favourite Dish, a cheese pudding), and Saudi Arabia, and tea and coffee from Saudi Arabia were also served.
Also highlighted were performances in music and dance by graduate students and their families, and one brave faculty member! These performances represented Bangladesh, Russia, China, South America, India, Iran, Malaysia, and Canada.
This event is a highlight every year, and we are already looking forward to the next EGSS Cultural Night!
