The Professional Activities Fund (PAF) supports extra-curricular projects and activities including prototyping, competitions, and conferences. The intended purpose of the projects and activities is to enhance the professional development of undergraduate engineering students.

2023-24 PAF Application Deadlines: 

There are two main categories of PAF Funding:

  1. Projects & Activities: 1 funding cycle per term.

    2023 Winter Term 1- Applications due Friday, October 6, 2023. Decisions will start being communicated on October 20, 2023.

    2023 Winter Term 2- Applications due Friday, February 9, 2024. Decisions will start being communicated on February 23, 2024.

  2. Travel & Conferences: monthly funding cycles.

  • Applications are due Monday, September 25, 8:30 am PT.
    Decisions will be distributed by Friday, October 6.
  • Applications are due Monday, October 16, 8:30 am PT.
    Decisions will be distributed by Friday, October 27.
  • Applications are due Monday, November 13, 8:30 am PT.
    Decisions will be distributed by Friday, November 24.
  • Applications are due Monday, January 15, 8:30 am PT.
    Decisions will be distributed by Friday, Jan 26.
  • Applications are due Monday, February 12, 8:30 am PT.
    Decisions will be distributed by Friday, February 23.
  • Applications are due Monday, March 18, 8:30 am PT.
    Decisions will be distributed by Friday, March 29.
  • Applications are due Monday, April 15, 8:30 am PT.
    Decisions will be distributed by Friday, April 19.
  • Applications are due Monday, May 13, 8:30 am PT.
    Decisions will be distributed by Friday, May 24.
  • Applications are due Monday, June 17, 8:30 am PT.
    Decisions will be distributed by Friday, June 28.
  • Applications are due Monday, July 29, 8:30 am PT.
    Decisions will be distributed by Friday, August 9.

Students will receive a confirmation email, once the PAF Application is submitted. 

Applicants will be updated once a decision is made.
